How do you move Stocky purchase orders to a new app? (1 min 24 s). Watch on YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play.
Where things stand#
Shopify removed Stocky from the App Store on 2 February 2026 and switched the app and its API off on 31 August 2026. Nothing moved to a new home on its own. Your products and stock levels still sit in Shopify, and the working data that lived only in Stocky, such as purchase orders, reorder points and supplier records, did not.
Coverage of Shopify's migration guide says merchants keep read-only access for exporting data for at least 90 days after the shutdown. Counting from 31 August, that runs to about 29 November. We cannot promise it holds, so take the files today. Our export guide has the click path.
Move it in five steps#
- In Stocky, open Purchase Orders and export all of them as CSV.
- Export your products with the Min and Max columns if you want your reorder points back.
- Copy down supplier contacts, lead times and minimum order quantities from anything you still have, since Stocky cannot export suppliers.
- In Binly, open the import screen, drop the files in one at a time and check the preview. It shows how many rows matched, how many are new and how many it skipped, with the reason for each skip.
- Confirm. Binly creates the orders as drafts and adds a supplier for every vendor name on them.
Before you import, the free Stocky export report reads your CSV in the browser and shows suppliers, open orders and value on order. Nothing leaves your computer.
Field by field#
| Field | Stocky CSV | Stocky API (off since 31 Aug 2026) | In Binly |
|---|---|---|---|
| PO number | Yes | Yes | Groups lines into one order per PO number |
| Vendor name | Yes | Yes | Creates a supplier for each new name and links it to its orders |
| SKU and barcode | Yes | Yes | Matches each line to a Shopify variant, SKU first and then barcode. Lines that match nothing are skipped and listed |
| Quantity ordered | Yes | Yes | Imported |
| Unit cost | Yes | Yes | Imported as the ordered unit cost |
| Received status | Not imported by Binly | Part-received lines and individual deliveries | Orders arrive as drafts. Recording starts with your first delivery in Binly |
| Receipt date | Not in the file | Yes | Not available from the CSV route |
| Supplier cost price per delivery | Not in the file | Yes | Not available from the CSV route |
| Supplier contacts | Cannot be exported | Name, email and address | Paste old notes or drop your own supplier CSV |
| Min and Max per product | Yes, on the product export | Not part of the API import | Become the min and restock-to levels that drive Reorder |
| MOQ, case size, days of cover | Only if your file has such columns | Not part of the API import | Saved on any paid plan and applied to suggested quantities |
| Stocktake history | Exportable for your records | Not part of the API import | Not imported. Counts start against live Shopify inventory |
Binly's API import used to bring across receipt dates, per-delivery supplier costs, suppliers and archived orders, but the API it read from is gone. If you ran that import before 31 August, those fields are already in Binly. If you did not, the CSV is what you have.
Supplier details#
Stocky never let you export supplier records, so Binly builds suppliers from the vendor names on your orders. Contacts, lead times and terms need one more step. Drop your own supplier CSV into the import screen, or paste your old supplier notes into the notes rescue, which reads minimum order quantities, case sizes, lead times and payment terms such as 2/10 net 30 into fields that Reorder uses.
If you never exported#
Then what lived only in Stocky is probably gone, and no importer can bring it back. Rebuild open orders from supplier emails and invoices, let Binly read your sales from Shopify to suggest reorders, and keep a CSV of everything from now on. Binly starts recording delivery dates and costs per delivery with your first receipt.
What it costs#
The preview is free, and applying an import needs an active plan. The 14-day trial counts. Starter is $12 a month, Pro is $25 and Growth is $69. If you would rather not do it yourself, send us your export at support@binly.org and we set up your suppliers and purchase orders for you.
Binly is not the only way across. Stockroom by MyWorks is a free app whose listing offers a Stocky migration, and MyWorks notes in its help center the limit that applies to every route: past orders cannot return with their original status or receiving records. We compare prices on our cheapest Stocky alternatives page.

Frequently asked questions#
Can I still export from Stocky?
Stocky shut down on 31 August 2026 and its API is off. Coverage of Shopify's migration guide reports read-only export access for at least 90 days afterwards, which points to late November 2026. Treat that as a minimum, and export as soon as you can.
What does Binly import from the Stocky CSV?
Purchase orders with vendor, SKU or barcode, quantity ordered and ordered unit cost, as drafts. Reorder points from the Min and Max columns, and optional supplier terms. Suppliers come from the vendor names and from your own supplier file.
Why does Binly not import receipt dates from the CSV?
Stocky's CSV export never carried per-delivery receipt dates or supplier cost price. The API did, and it switched off on 31 August 2026.
Do my imported orders show as received?
No. Every imported order arrives as a draft. Binly records arrival dates and per-delivery costs from the first delivery you receive in the app.
Does Binly import stocktake history from Stocky?
No. Binly counts live against your current Shopify inventory, so keep old stocktake CSVs for your records.
What if some rows do not import?
The preview lists skipped rows with the reason, for example a SKU or barcode that is not in your Shopify catalog, or a row with no quantity. Fix the file or the product and import again.
Does importing cost anything?
The preview is free. Applying the import needs an active plan, and the 14-day trial counts.
