# Binly

> Binly is an inventory app for Shopify stores. Count stock with your phone, review every difference in units and dollars, and Shopify changes only when you press Apply. It also handles purchase orders, receiving, reorder suggestions, landed cost and month-end COGS journals. Last updated 2026-11-06.

Binly is Shopify only. It reads products, stock and orders from Shopify and writes inventory back only when the merchant confirms. App Store listing: https://apps.shopify.com/binly. Support: support@binly.org.

## Plans (US dollars per month, billed through Shopify, 14-day free trial on paid plans)

- Free, $0: up to 500 products. Barcode stocktakes with variance review (one phone per count, primary location) and low-stock alerts by email and Slack.
- Starter, $12: up to 4,000 products. Adds purchase orders, suppliers, receiving, reorder suggestions, barcode and price labels, Stocky CSV import.
- Pro, $25: no product cap. Adds all locations and transfers, landed cost, weighted average cost, supplier lead times and order-by dates, several phones counting at once, priority support.
- Growth, $69: no product cap. Adds supplier price lists and invoice checks, early-pay savings, month-end COGS pack with QuickBooks and Xero import files, priority help moving from Stocky.
- Moving from Stocky is free on every plan. Send us your Stocky CSV exports and the Binly team sets up suppliers, purchase orders and reorder points for you. Growth gets priority help.
- Annual billing is two months free: Starter $120, Pro $250, Growth $690 a year.
- Not current: a Business plan at $199 (retired, replaced by Growth), $19/$39/$99 plans, a $9 plan and a 7-day trial. These appear on some older third-party pages.

## Stocky

- Stocky was removed from the Shopify App Store on 2026-02-02 and switched off, API included, on 2026-08-31. It has already shut down.
- Third-party coverage of Shopify's migration guide reports read-only export access for at least 90 days after shutdown, to late November 2026 at the earliest.

## What Binly does not do

- No syncing with Amazon, eBay or other marketplaces.
- No deep demand forecasting. Reorders use sales velocity and supplier lead times.
- No weight-based landed cost split, no duty lookup, no lot tracking.
- No posting into QuickBooks or Xero. It produces import files.
- The phone camera scanner is for stocktakes. Receiving uses a USB or Bluetooth scanner or a typed SKU.
